The party was a success. There were lots of kids, big and small. Thanks to everyone who helped out before, during and after the party. Mike volunteered to take the food and clothes that were collected to the Whispering Pines.
Battle of the Bands/Benefit for ABATE of Louisiana
It started out a little chaotic, however everything worked out. There was a tie for the bands. Collected from raffles and auction was $306.00; from the door $199.25 to give a total of $505.25. ABATE of New Mexico collected $155.00 to bring a total of $660.25. This amount will deposited in our account and a check for that sum will be sent to ABATE of Louisiana. Accessory Pit, KC Tanks, and Jenks Cafe have expressed interest in advertising. Contact Sharprrr@yahoo.com.

COC/NCOM
Barb, Patty, CJ and Big D attended the meeting in Phoenix. It was reported that in Europe they cannot change emissions and in some countries it is illegal to be a patch holder. They discussed how European law will affect us in the U.S. Patty had a good time and didn't embarrass anyone.
Calendar
Discussion involving the calendar included a greater focus on riding. Events to be considered were: a) Have our own bike night out; in the summer ride to different establishments that support us; b) Suggestion of a run for a college fund for Audra's child; c) Suggestion of a ride out to Moriarty Motocross track for their Memorial Race Day. There is also a band that has volunteered to play at our functions. Listen to them at www.ordinaryguise.com.
Legislative News
This year will be a money session so it is undetermined whether there will be motorcycle issues.
