Treasurer's Report
Old Business
School Supplies
In need of someone to pick up. Top, Dianna, and Damon will do it Tuesday. $1,600 approximately. They will be stored at Mark and Leslie's and be sorted on Sunday, October 10 at noon. Volunteers to help are Cat, Alisha, Elizabeth, Scott and Charlene. Delivery to the schools will be October 12. Anyone wanting to help, meet at Mark and Leslie's at 8 a.m.
Events
March of Dimes Bikers for Babies will be October 9, 2004. They are asking for advice and volunteers from ABATE. Route: Chick's, Tramway, Rt. 66, 217, South 14, Molly's, Fire Station, and ends at the Fraternal Order of Polic on Jefferson.
Pinto Bean Festival will also be on October 9. They may ask for help with their Poker Run.
Highway Clean-up
Today
Halloween Party
We need candy donations for the party. Donation: GPS for door prize. Friday October 29 set-up. Volunteers to help are Cat, Elizabeth, Alisha, Jordan, Scott and Charlene and anyone else who shows up.
Red River Incident
Two counts of Involuntary Manslaughter. NMMRO and First Mountain Chapter commendation letter to district attorney if the charges stick.
New Business
COC Meeting
Fifty bikes represented the COC at the Ruidoso Golden Aspen Rally. Bars with NO COLORS signs:
- Coyote Bar
- Stone Fact
- Joker's Pub
- Billy's Long Bar
The Roswell paper ran an article stating that the Bandidos are the dealers of all the meth in the state.
The ACLU and legislatures are banding together to fight the Patriot Act.
November 13-14 is the Board of Directors meeting in Salt Lake City.
Announcements
Boomer/Veterans Memorial Association
He is the Coordinator for the Memorial Rally.
October 16 is Freedom of Speech Day.
Channel 27 on Comcast there is a TV show with Boomer and Barb Alvar of NMMRO.
November 11 is Veterans Day. Top will be at the Memorial. Go and show your support.
