Old Business
Stan McCann, the deputy coordinator for the Tularosa Basin Chapter of ABATE, hit some gravel on the way to the state board meeting. He is hurt very badly, but is stable at UNM. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated, as his recovery will be long and hard.
Our chapter received $186 from State for reimbursement for expenses incurred for the state picnic. Mark Mofran will take over the position of newsletter editor. Randy LaBelle is the new state coordinator. Liz Espinosa will be his local liaison. Co-members of the year are Liz and Jim Chimlicek. Randy will be checking into insurance for our events.
New Business
1st Mountain campout, July 25-27
It will be at Villa Nueva. Any questions, contact Top or Patty. Top will be setting up Friday evening, July 25.
Meeting date change: August 10, 2003 at 10 a.m.
Poker run date change: August 17, 2003 at 10:30-12:00 check-in
We need donations for the poker run raffle prizes!
The Labor Day campout will be at Fenton. We will need to bring our own water.
Announcements
Fire and Ice had minimal booths and events this year.
Jimmy announced that AJATE will be attaching itself to ABATE for all of us who drive Jeeps.
Five Harley baggers are available, all under $10,000, through Paul at Motorcycle Wild.
