Treasurer's Report

Old Business
We will need $200.00 to reserve Cedro Campground Fri & Sat night for the chapter picnic June 12, 2004.

Highway clean up will be Sunday, April 18th after the meeting. This day is very special and we are expecting EVERYONE to be there. It's our fearless leader's 50th birthday! Patty will be expecting everyone to help her celebrate. Who knows what fun things are planned after the highway is cleaned up—you will only know if you show!

Poker Run—April 25th. This run will benefit our Lanky Team Moto-X riders. We plan to make most of the stops at the bike shops that the riders frequent. Map & Route TBA.

Motion made and accepted to go back to bi-monthly meetings, 1st Sunday & 3rd Sunday. The next meeting will be March 21St.

Barb Alvar, our State A.B.A.T.E. interim deputy coordinator, NMMRO Chair and COC vice chair was here to feed us very important information:

A.B.A.T.E.

  • Tim Yeager coordinator of the Albq Chapter has been MIA since Dec, per bylaws he has been removed as coordinator. Butch is the new chapter coordinator.
  • The State Picnic will be June 19-20th. There will be no food until Sat. so if you come up on Friday night bring your own goodies till dinner time Saturday.
  • Our chapter's responsibility will be security, beer & butt cans. (Mark and I got a donation of coffee cans to cover our butts). If you want to set up a vendor table; it is the gate fee and 3 door prizes, each chapter is responsible for 6 door prizes. Any extra monies except for raffle and gate fees will be divided between chapters. Each chapter will put in $250.00 i.e.: 1st Mtn will be toward beer etc.
  • The next meeting regarding the State Picnic will be held June 6th at the Capital Bar in Socorro.
  • The next state board meeting will be held April 17th at the Elks club.
